Don't expect Fox to change though. Sean Hannity's head would explode. I'm thinking he'll take it back in few months anyway.

I am assuming you are referring to Fox News
Why would Fox News change? Rupert understands the media and the watching habits of television viewers more than anyone else out there. Rupert knew there was an audience and he caters to it.
Any smart businessman, especially in the media, isn't going to let his politics get in the way of business. Rupert made that mistake with the Dodgers, he won't make it again

Agreed. Is Murdock perhaps signaling to the more conservative parts of the corporate world as a whole that they need to support Obama some if they want to keep from being looked at too hard after their long association with the Bu****es?

You are correct of course but this surprises me. It's like "Bizzaro World" or something.

I think Murdoch knows that the favors for the elite rich in this country, while having been very beneficial, are near the end of their effectiveness, and it's going to take more liberal policies to bring the economy back with a safe landing.
At the very least, I can't think of a person who still depends on a functioning economy for profit that can be cheering for four more years of Bush-style economic policies.
You mean the same guy who gave the max to Bill Bradley and John Kerry in 2000 and also to Ted Kennedy wouldn't have an issue with Obama? The same guy who, two years ago hosted a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton? The same guy who gave nearly $7,000 dollars to her campaign too? This staunch republican wouldn't take umbrage with a democrat in office?

Why pick a team when you can play for both?
rock star -> 18-49 demographic -> ratings -> happy newsman
