As a matter of fact, we were originally banished to this sub-forum so the children and women wouldn't have to read about legitimate important topics when they're happy birthday circle-jerking or whining about the latest kings/arg disappointment.
in this sub-forum we discuss legitimate/important topics, ask interesting(to me) questions, and respond with provocative opinions.
if the heat gets to be too much for some of us, go back to the kitchen, or music talk, or wherever the gaggle is.

1. Flaming: Do not post any messages that insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. No Personal attacks. Debates are fine, but argue the point, not the person.
If you can't debate with someone without resorting to insults, flaming, or personal attacks, than you will be leaving the kitchen.

How is a person that you don't even know ever the point of the argument?
I'm not saying that I haven't been guilty in the past of personal attacks, but is it really necessary?
If I use the "I'm more intelligent than you" argument, my intelligence, and myself are now a debatable topic. If you are able to prove that I am an idiot, citing whatever examples needed, it can't be considered a personal attack. When this happens, in my opinion, the person is a point of debate.

I agree, but call it what you will, there will always be babies crying. It's classic that nearly all of the neg karma that I've ever received comes from when I venture into the political forums with my blasphemous (moderately in my opinion) liberal ideas.
