Default Phil Gramm and McCain's Economic Policies

McCain economic policy shaped by lobbyist - Countdown with Keith Olbermann - MSNBC.com

Read it and weep. A glimpse of what's to come on economic policy if McCain is elected. Former Senator Phil Gramm, who prepared the legislative paths to the California energy crisis and the mortgage banking crisis, is McCain's top advisor on the economy, an issue McCain himself admits he doesn't understand. I guess no matter how much "experience and judgement" you have if you can't make sense of your experience and you're a doofus, those things don't help to make good decisions.
