McCain new this election was a lost cause. I think he just let Palin be forced upon him by the religeous far right to expose them. Ultimately I hope this leads to the republican party melting down completely and the beginning of a centrist 3rd party. If I needed a hunting guide in Alaska I would have liked to meet her, but no way would anyone with a brain let her near the Oval Office. She was not the reason the republican party lost the election, although she definitely sealed the deal.
I had not intentions of voting for McCain until he brought GOVERNOR Palin on board. The McCain campaign lost because it had no clear vision, no clear focus, and quite frankly, McCain is NO true Repbulican. Sarah brought in the true conservative base PERIOD.
You all overhandled and overcoddled her and made aHUGE mistake in not putting her on shows and radio where she would immediately been heard and seen by the base, been among people who wanted her to succeed and would not have treated her as a third rate candidate.
OBAMA has tons less experience than Palin and guess what HE has no clue about those answers either. WHAT a JOKE this campaign was, but the ‘leaks’ after the fact? Shameful, disheartening, and cowardly. Thanks for killing any respect McCain earned from people like me who rallied around him BECAUSE of and not in spite of Palin.
