In a press release, the military command stated that the organization is ready to respond to any homeland defense or civil support mission requirement. Considering that George W. Bush has signed a directive making the President a dictator over continuity of government operations in the case of a catastrophic emergency, any homeland defense or civil support mission requirement would include the implementation of martial law. Below is the full press release which contains all sorts of wonderfully crafted politically correct language from their PR people that attempts to convince us that the use of the military domestically for all declared emergencies is perfect acceptable.
Ah yes, once W. is out of the office light will again shine on the American Democracy...if things are so bad, which many people think on this board, the problem lies not in one man but in the inherent system that is in place.
Getting rid of Bin Laden will not change Al Qaeda...so if your pessimistic now, I have bad news that you'll be pessimistic in 11 months because not much changes.

Dubya and his gang of neo cons, rather.
Not that a democratic president is going to make things perfect, but if anybody is gonna **** it up even worse than things are now, its gonna be Dubya in regards to his final months in office.
W is not the problem...There are so many people who are behind this mess, from internal to external entities. You cant solely blame W, when others contributed equally.
W might be the face of the problem, but who are those who make up the body?

The global elite, the men behind the curtain, Bilderberg Group, Rummy, Wolfowitz, - basically your individuals and entities with global status and ones financially in control of the corporate American slaves. However, they've used Dubya and his administration at their convenience, arguably. I don't see how that can be denied given the outcome of Chimp's foreign policy and the other atrocities that we are currently undergoing. You are correct though, he might not be the face of the problem but he has as much blood on his hands as the other parties and individuals involved in this cluster**** of a time.
Like I said, I don't see a democratic president as the end of all problems and in a few generations the United States will be a third world country and exploited for everything that its worth. Its safe to say that both Hillary and Mc Cain won't do much to stop the war profiteering or the further corporitization of America. Obama seems to be the least evil of the three, but I still feel its too late at this point no matter who Diebold puts in office.
