Ive nothing to back it up simply an estimate based on racial numbers from the golden age of hanging. Its only a matter of time before the hanging skeleton on the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland will be a target of the NAACPs wrath. Remember when a noose was simply a noose and not some mysterious symbol of racism?

Any how many of the white people were hung BECAUSE they were white? I don't think it will take long to compile a list.

And that relates to a noose about as much as the rifle used by the germans in WW2 should then be considered a symbol of antisemitism.

As for initial link, it's exagerrated, no doubt.

Nooses aren't racially insensitive in and of themselves. It depends on the context, and the context in this case appears to be innocuous.

The Gas Chambers were used mainly on jews-Nooses hung people of all races and werent used solely on blacks. For example-Most of the people link to the Abraham Lincoln assasination were hung-none of whom happened to be black.

Like it or not, right now in this country, nooses are being used as an icon for racial attacks. They are todays "burning crosses", so to speak.

This situation is overblown but...
I do NOT recall those good ol' days when a noose was just a noose. Must have been at some point before the colonization of the americas.
If I'm in California and I see a noose, I think "Oh hey... sports rally/polical rally/ protest" of some sort. If I'm in the midwest/south/southeast and I see a noose... a whole other train of thought comes into play.

when I was younger we used to hang dummies (not real people) every Halloween. It was supposed to be scary, not a racial statement. PC is freaking geigh! Oh sorry was that not pc?

I remember some of the houses doing this as well when I was a kid and I never once associated it with racism.

When this came up last week at Columbia, I thought about the ramifications of a noose. Like it or not it's a sign of the PC times. How long until someone gets in trouble for this?

(sorry couldn't find Donald, but you get the point).
