Mike Huckabee and The Constitution

For those of you who don't know, Mike Huckabee is one of the GOP's candidates for President in 08'.

What is this guy smoking?

He said the following to an audience in Michigan last Monday...

"I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than to change the word of the living God, and that's what we need to do...to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try and change God's standards so it lines up with contemporary view".

Conservative talk show host Joe Scarborough, called the comments "interesting".

I almost choked on my dinner last night when I heard this quote on the news. Ummm excuse me Mike, it's a little something called separation of church and state.

God help us if this guy becomes President. C'mon GOP this is one of your three best candidates? LOL.

The Huckster cracks me up. I pray he wins the GOP nomination, but he probably won't get it.

But isn't this country founded on Christian values? So why should the Constitution be changed to be more in line with God's views? You mean it's actually not based on any religious values? Now I'm confused.
