Viktor Bout, the most notorious international arms dealer in the world (who was portrayed by Nicholas Cage in the fictionalized movie Lord of War), was recently caught in Thailand. He's supplied arms and transport services to everyone from South American rebel groups and African warlords to the Pentagon and the UN.

Now the US is seeking extradition:

A step in the right direction.

Good!

This guy is responsible , at least indirectly, for much misery and death for untold numbers of people. Perhaps a just punishment would be for him to face a firing squad equiped with some of his wares.
