I think this is a poor decision. It feels so contrived as if it came out of the marketing department. Nothing against her because I am only vaquely familiar with her. It just seems like he only did it to try to get the Hillary vote.

If obama is elected is biden ready to be president if the worst happens to obama.
If mccain is elected is palin ready to be president if mccain becomes too sick to continue?
she has 2 years leading the state ranked 47th in population and 14 years being on the city council with a population of 5000. I don't see how thats presidential experience

Exactly, the Republicans have lost their most potent argument. One that has been plastered on their Operative's podiums all through the DNC. "Not Ready '08."
