Well worth the 2 hour investment. I'd like to see sources for some of the information, but Zeitgeist will open a lot of peoples eyes.

Eh, clever. Nice music. It still is a bunch of speculation without evidence mixed in with facts that are unrelated to sway you to think there's something there.

You've got a guy talking about a conversation with a Rockefeller that supposedly took place a year before 9/11. Well, the interview was six years after. Why wait so long? Also, depending on which conspiracy website you check out, it's either Nick or David Rockefeller. They should probably figure out which if you want to be taken seriously.

You've also got a lot of comments about the 9/11 buildings falling right on top of each other. Well, about an hour and 20 in, there's a clip of one of them falling and you can see CLEARLY that it's falling away from it's center. Not right on top of itself.

Other comments about loud explosions. Well, I still don't understand why people think tons of concrete smashing down would be quiet and wouldn't produce some force. You forget that it wasn't just one floor coming down at the start. It was 15-20 smashing onto the floor(s) below. That's bound to make a decent amount of noise and structural damage.

As far as the rest coming down, it's called momentum. I really don't understand what is so difficult to understand about that. If a car is coming at me at 30 miles an hour, and it hits me, and then hits another person, and then hits another person, the next person doesn't stop it. It keeps going. Not to mention the gravity aspect. If that sort of scenario happened with a vertical angle, not only would the car not slow down, it would likely pick up speed as well as increase it's force on the next impact.

What I always come back to is this: How? How has this thing been covered up? It's one thing to keep the murder of someone a secret. It's a completely different thing to keep something this large secret. I'll refer to a very good (and fair in my eyes) article regarding this whole "movement":

Beauty Is Truth - Features - The Stranger, Seattle's Only Newspaper

Quote:
I ask how many people it must've taken to wire the towers to explode.

\"If they had long enough, probably you could have gotten it done with crews of 20 or 40 people.\"

So how did the government convince a crew of that size to wire two iconic buildings in their own country, and why have none of them come forward?

\"It's just my theory,\" he says. \"But the people who wired the towers to explode are already dead. They probably got three in the back of the head, just like Pat Tillman.\"

But what about the people who did the people who did the towers? And the people who told the people to do the people who did the towers? You can imagine a line of men in suits shooting each other in the back of the head extending all the way from New York to Washington, D.C. and ending in the Oval Office, but somewhere along the way, someone's going to squeal. Truthers tend to implicate the media in the attack but, as anyone who's ever gotten drunk with a journalist could tell you, a conspiracy that involves the media would be the world's shortest-lived conspiracy.
It just really doesn't add up at all. Did the gov't blow it on 9/11 (no pun intended)? Probably. Have they gone overboard in relation to personal liberties and their removal. Sure. Is this all being done so the end result is so each of us has a microchip in our head that will allow them to control our finances, and therefore our behavior, in an effort to rule supreme over us? Umm. . .I think that's a bit of a stretch.

Everything is a bit of a stretch for sure, but I'm glad you took the time to watch it and give a genuine and logical opinion.

How did you feel about the religion (part 1) claim?

It was interesting. It held my attention for the most part. I don't know enough about all of the religions (nor astrology) to make a qualified statment on any of the stuff they said however. To be honest, it seemed like the dude has read too much Dan Brown. I'm sure there is some merit in what he is saying, but I don't know it matters in the scope of what he's trying to prove in the movie.

What I DO find interesting though, is how in part one he blasts religions as make believe and for people who don't want to think, but in parts two and three, he expects people to do that very thing. A rose by any other name. . .

I've never read any Dan Brown (and I never will) but I am assuming that Brown thinks a key to all this religious nonsense is Mary Magdalene. According to the film, Christianity, Judaism and most forms of western religion are based on Sun Worship so I don't see how there's any correlation there.

Judaism follows a lunar calendar. No sun god.

Judaism is a true monotheistic religion. Christianity is a panoply of other pagan religions that hijacked Judaism.

ok im about 27 minutes in...

It would be nice if the narrator were able to offer up some evidence for some of the claims. It's all fairly interesting... and if you don't come at it from a skeptical point of view I can see how it would be easy to say "YEA!!! Jesus is the age of pisces cus there's fish everywhere in Chrisitanity!!!" but doesn't that kind of cherry pick symbols from a global religion that is no doubt full of symbols? I mean what does being a shepherd have to do with Fish?

So far it still sounds like some guys with a year of two of "Intro to World Religions" got high one night and made a youtube video.

I await more concrete evidence than just "the narrator" said so for some of these claims.

WRONG. I never said they "follow" the lunar calendar, I said the religion was "based" on sun worship. And of course Christianity is a panoply of other religions, that's what white people do, they borrow from others.

and throwing in the "Noah" story is pointless. The Old Testament (while probably no more original than the New Testament) has nothing to do with the New Testament. Any suggestion that the two should be treated as a solid work is just silly.

OK... now I'm going to have to call you a racist.

"White people" borrow from others but "non-white" people don't? Did you watch the video? The list of deities that "stole" their story from Horus is not limited to "white" people and if you take a look at things like Candomble and other Souther Hemispheric religions you can see just as much mix and match going on.

So there.

Jews rule!
