Up for election in 08, no way he runs after this incident. Statesman editorial makes a great point, why did he try to hide this for 11 weeks? Did he not realize that it would come out sooner or later?

So that makes 2 socially conservative politicians getting caught asking for sex in a Men's room in recent memory.

This guy, and the Congressmen from Florida...

I never put much credence in the saying that "those who are most homophobic are probably gay" but I'm starting to now.

It's always the same. Republicans get busted for taking bribes and having sex with men and young boys.

That might have been the strangest press conference i've ever seen.

He said, "I'm not gay, I've never been gay." And he 'overreacted' when pleading guilty.

WOW. I guess he's only gay in public bathrooms at airports.

Local news is having a field day with this. He will not last one more month in office. He thinks the Statesman is witch hunting him, wait until all the local news commentaries ask for him to resign.

What a hypocrite, if he didn't do anything, why did he plead guilty?

Trust me . . . Republicans will move QUICKLY on this. They have to. They need to get someone in there who can make an impact and, of course, get themselves on the ballot as a true incumbent. They don't want this creeping into an election cycle.

Idaho has a Republican governor (C.L. "Butch" Otter), so when Craig resigns, there will be another Republican to replace him.

HOw can the right media like Hannity spin this? He thinks there's something 'fishy' and it's not 'right' like the guy was set up. Look this guy was outed by a gay blogger a year ago on national radio (Ed Shultz) and it was reported that this bathroom was on adult websites and was KNOWN to be a gay hook up place. How can they SPIN THIS!??!! The guy is a CLOSETED ****!!!!!!!!!! Just stay out like McGreevy and retire to frisco.
