Pretty impressive. I think I trust this guy.
I've got to be honest . . . when he was belting it out, there were certain segments that sounded just like MLK. It also got me thinking about how long it's been since someone has resorted to violence to alter the political landscape, and hope that we hear speeches like that in terms of merit - not of memories.
I just got an eerie feeling listening to parts of it. It was a damned good speech, though.
First, it's part of her reaction to losing to Obama in Iowa, and I didn't think it deserved its own thread. What are you the post content police.
Regarding your second point, it's more like she is using her femine wiles to try and garner some sympathy. I wouldn't care if she was a man or a woman, I'd dislike her just as much.
Third, so what some guy cried. This woman wants to be President of the United States, what is she going to do when the going gets tough?
Unless it was all just an act, which is more probable.

Look I'm going to vote for whoever the dem nominee is, but I'm still not sure I'm sold on the guy. I want him to be my nizza, but he keeps doing things to irritate me, like picking up on "right wing talking points" to demonize (or as he calls it, "contrast") his democratic opponents. "Trial lawyers" digs about Edwards, "polarizing" remarks over Hillary, STFU Barack.
Really, does anyone know all that much about this guy other than the fact that he's given a handful of REALLY GOOD speeches? Cause I dunno, but to me he often comes across as not much more than a Hope-a-Dope. Show me some venom, Barack. Be a little more gangsta.

I read this and just see some of the irrational dislike for the woman. Now you can certainly like or dislike whoever want but I've seen this over and over again (in my family especially).
I'm not trying to give you a hard time about this but I'm trying to point out that this is a very REAL situation among conservatives. Because of this I just see Clinton as polarizing figure (like GWB turned out to be) and it is THIS reason I do not want her to win. This country has had enough of this Rep vs. Dem non-sense. To me an Obama or an Edwards would make an effort to get us away from that.

I suppose when they going gets tough she'll call Boehner, the Republican Minority Leader in the House, into the oval office and make him cry.
