This doesn't surprise me one bit. Savage is especially pathetic and hateful (his real last name is Wiener, or so I've heard). I don't know how many listeners he has, but I have noticed that O'Reilly and Hannity both have declining ratings. That fact alone gives me a little hope. I think many people are getting tired of the fear mongering and hateful speech. There will always be an audience for these yahoos, but I think we are starting to see a shift away from all of that.

It takes an obscene amout of effort and energy to hate as much as these guys do. I think people are just getting tired.
Gotta agree with you. I used to listen to these because, at one point, they explained most of their positions in a manner of how it helped society. I stopped listening to them several years ago when their explanations became "liberals are evil." They really started reaching for that far-right wing audience and never looked back.

I can see how a flamboyant, greedy and overtly religious priest could be a good source in this matter. Of course he had a change of heart later in life, but still.......
A man barged into the Arkansas Democratic headquarters and opened fire Wednesday, fatally shooting the state party chairman before speeding off in his pickup. Police later shot and killed the suspect after a 30-mile chase.
Chairman Bill Gwatney died four hours after the shooting.
