About This Page: This is a discussion on Politics within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Who are you voting for in the primary?
Obama or Hillary?
Uncertain so far.
Leaning towards Obama, but thats mostly because I'm uncomfortable with the idea of 24 years of 2 family domination of the white house.

I said it a year or so ago, and i'm sticking to it. I said I was going to vote for the candidate that was the most articulate, so I'm voting Obama! I know it's lame, but hell after putting up with Bush for 8 years, it's a serious issue with me, and it's not like people don't vote for people based on crazy idea's, take religion for example.
I'll settle for any democrat... but THIS WEEK i'm in the "plug my nose and vote for Hillary" camp.
For a couple reasons: The main one being she will completely piss off the ignorant Republicans. But most importantly, I get the vibe Obama will not survive the Republican smear machine when it kicks into high gear, and believe me IT WILL. The GOP Mud-slingers are going to turn Obama into a crackhead, ghetto fabulous freak who is going to be snorting coke off strippers titties while sipping Colt 45 in the oval office. There will be rumors that Snoop Dogg is going to to be his running mate. There's already rumors I understand that he's cheated on his wife so we'll have that all over again. Though in his case I don't really believe it.
I think Hillary Clinton has the best chance to win. The only possible republican candidate who could make me nervous of beating her is McCain because ignorant people who call themselves "Independent" still seem to believe that "McCain is a 'Straigh-Talker', and a 'Maverick' B.S.". But anyway... who else couple possibly beat Clinton? --- Romney - LOL. Huckabee?-LOL 9ui11ani-LMAO. Nobody. McCain is the ONLY Republican with half a chance at beating the dems.

This was my thinking at first as well, but the more I learned about Obama, the more I disagree with his ideas.
I probably will end up voting for Obama for the reasons Semp stated.
Are you registered as part of the American Independent party, or are you independent in the sense of "non-partisan"? If the latter, you can still vote in the Democratic primary...
As for me, I'll take either Clinton or Obama in November, though I'm likely voting for Obama in the primary.
