Bush has now negotiated what he and his neo-con nuts used to call "surrender"--until they negotiated it that is.
Even if they now sabotage their own agreement with Iraq the White House has cut the legs out from under McCain since McCain's still talking his no "surrender" open ended war to "let the troops win" line and calling Obama's judgement and patriotism into question for suggesting what Bush and Rice and the Iraqis
just did.
All Obama now has to do is say "the Bush administration and the Iraqis have adopted my policy proposals and left McCain's behind" and they're isn't any easy way for McCain to keep the lynchpin of his campaign rhetoric going without questions from the press everytime he brings it up. Obama will now say to McCain "Are you against the timeline for withdrawal that we've negotiated? Do you want the war to go on longer than president Bush does?" and it will be very hard for McCain to answer convincingly.
The race will now increasingly shift toward "It's the economy stupid!" vs "But he's black!"
