And to be fair, in the frantic nature of a presidential campaign, one should be forgiving to the inevitable misstatements that will occur when some of the world's most aggressive journalists are following one's every move through a taxing schedule that often includes up to half a dozen campaign appearances in multiple states in one day.
Politicians make mistakes and misstatements on the campaign trail, McCain has done it a few times and Obama has too. Not a big deal. Maybe we should be making a big deal out of the issues and not make it the end of the world whenever someone misspeaks or does something personality-wise we dont like.
American Insurance Group? C'mon Barry, get your facts straight!
OK lemmings, bring on the excuses!!!!
Maybe that's the change he keeps talking about. It should be American Insurance Group!
Wow, when you are SO desperate to find something and have to scrape the bottom of the barrel THAT hard, it really reinforces to me that you are so beyond wrong I have to laugh. And cry.

I figure the liberal media, and you lemmings along with them, will make a story out of every gaff McCain may make along the trail. So why not provide some perspective?
Threads and responses like this just provge how lame this whole process really is. I mean who freakin cares what AIG stands for or how many homes McCain didnt know he had.
Do people really think those types of things matter during this process?
personally, i could give a s*** how many houses he has. it has more to do with:
1) how many people really don't know how many houses they have? he just comes off as senile and therefore, is his senility affecting his mental capacity to run a nation?
2) how many times is he going to pull off that "i was a POW and didn't have a kitchen table or chair crap"... watch the videos in the link. he does it repeatedly like giuliani says 09/11. cripes!!!

So basically you're admitting that your arguments are really stupid and contrived, but now you're claiming you are only posting them to point out that other people are making stupid and contrived arguments too?
And you expect anyone to take you seriously, ever?

not to mention the fact that there is no such thing as the "liberal media."

What is so sad about your point is that its true not only with people on message boards but with the two "parties" that lead our country as well.
