All MEDIA SUCK!!!!

This is a classic example.....The top news story last night and this morning was the FBI report that LA and Chicago Malls were being targeted for possible Xmas shopping bombings. The media knew it was bad information but continue to sensationalize the possible threat. Way to go newspeople create fear in the general public!!!!!

The other day I sat down to wait for my car repair invoice at Galpin Mazda.
In the waiting area, the TV was tuned to a morning show of some kind.
They showed a panel of about 4 or 5 normal looking teenagers while the host said, "How many kids in your junior high would you say are having oral sex?"
My jaw dropped and I looked at the guy sitting a couple seats away and said, "Jeeezus! THIS is why I don't have TV in my house. For Pete's Sake! It's 10 o clock in the morning and this is their hot topic?? I'm going to wait outside."

I've had enough sensationalism to last me 10 lifetimes.

I only listen to NPR news in the morning via my clock radio.
I'm much happier for it.
