About This Page: This is a discussion on Politics within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. If it were any easier it would be comical. You gotta love soundbites.
Barack Obama wants to be president of these 57 United States : Top of the Ticket :
I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because uh some people out there in our nation don't have maps and uh I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and the Iraq everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for.
My 6 year old son knows nothing about the difference between Sunni and Shiite Muslims but he does know there are only 50 states.
So you're saying your son knows as much about foreign policy as McCain?

Obama's campaigned in 47 states so far. He made a mistake, whereas saying Iran is training Al-Qaeda is an outright falsehood designed to scare the "OMG Muslims" demographic. If it was a slip of the tongue, he wouldn't have made that mistake multiple times already.

No, I'm just acknowledging the effectiveness of soundbites in an election. You do as well, otherwise you would be be wary of the effect McCains slip up has on the "OMG Muslims" voting demographic. You see, that onme helps win an election. On the other hand Obama offers up a soundbite that screams "just another dumb minority" to the racist voting demographic.
I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying that it is what it is. Don't be mad though. You gut us on that "No New Taxes" thing back in 92.
So are the Republicans going to run against Obama on the "he's an elitist egghead" idiocy or on the "he's as stupid as Bush and McCain" argument?
