Slovenia vs Hungary 4-1 (3-0, 0-1, 1-0) Shots 26-14:
Last nights game vs. Hungary was a highlight of this tournament so far as our boys outplayed (if you don't count the 2nd period blackout) their biggest rival for 1st place as Hungarians didn't really had any notable chance 5-on-5 (shots 28-14 for Slovenians).
Anze was all over the ice, making plays, drawing penalties, playing D... He had better support from the rest of the team than the night before.
Glass is still dirty so AF keeps missing...

Slovenia vs Great Britan 4-0 (0-0, 3-0, 1-0) Shots 36-18:
After a rock'n'roll 1st period, where was a lot of penalties and little 5-on-5 hockey and either team could score (but neither did), the Slovenians dominated the rest of the game (with an occasional chance for the Brits).
Anze was brilliant yet again, notching 3 helpers and was also very much involved in the 4th goal (they didn't credited him with an assist but he did a lot of the work). It's clear he's an alien in this Division I worlds.

Slovenia vs Japan 7-1 (3-1, 1-0, 3-0) Shots 33-19:
Slovenians started the game at a high pace, scoring the 1st on a delayed penalty when D-man Vidmar knocked in a juicy rebound from up close. 2nd was scored of a beautiful play from 3rd line, Japan came close just 50 seconds later when Suzuki found himself infront of the net by a brutal mistake of Slo D. Just 26 seconds later Anze broke down the left and fed a perfect pass to the right slot where Razingar one-timed it home.
Simple game from here on with the exception of a few break aways and a couple of 5-3 PPs for Japan (incl. a full 2 min 5on3) which they couldn't capitalize. Anze almost got a couple of SH breakaways. Also if any danger, man of the match Hocevar was brilliant in Slo net.
Japan tried to play phisical but found themselves laying on the ice rather than their opponents more often than not. One such play resulted in capitan Marcel Rodman getting injured when a Japan D-man pushed him into the side of the net spraining his ankle. Rodman returned about 5 minutes later to assist on the 6th goal.
We even almost saw a fight in the last minute of the game when Varl wanted to retaliate to Saito for putting him head-first into the boards minutes earlier, but the refs broke it off before it even got going.
Watch out Canada, the Lynx are coming!!!

Slovenia vs Lithuania 4-2 (0-0, 2-1, 2-1) Shots 31-21:
Last game, another win, confirmation of Elite Division status, Slovenians had finished the tournament with a game where they had plenty of scoring opportunities but couldn't find the net, including Anze's missed Penalty shot (Lithuaninans missed one later in the game also).
Anze notched 2 more helpers, finishing the tournament with 1G 13 A and was selected as the Best forward of the tournament and MVP of team Slovenia. Our goalie Andrej Hocevar was selected as Best goalie of the tournament.
