I only knew one person who is a kings and ducks fan and now I met Nemmy700 how is this possible is beyond me, I guess there is nothing wrong with that, but when these two teams do make the playoffs in the same year and face each other who will you root for Nemmy700???

You were talking about quackers...something I'm perfectly ok with, they annoy me to. However, you made it seem as if you were persecuted for being a King fan by an evil Duck fan. When taking DucksFirst's account of the story it is not how it happened. This would be an example of victimization.

Look, I'm all for making fun of Duck fans but this we should be proud because things might start going our way in the not too distant future is comedic hyperbole at it's best. Can't we just put comments like some of the ones espoused in your blog to rest until the Kings actually get something done? It sucks to have to hold back sometimes but arguing that the Kings are doing anything better than Anaheim, or anyone else for that matter (considering our last place finish and actual regression in year two of Lombardi's plan and possile further regression in year three) is lunacy.

That is a fair statement. I plead guilty to being a fanatical fan for the Kings. As to the rest, I will just agree to disagree.
I really enjoyed learning that some of my clients were hockey fans. That was an unexpected truly pleasant surprise. I consider it appropriate rhetoric for any self-respecting Kings and Ducks fan to exchange some smack. It is part of the invisible code of fandom in my view. I would have really been disappointed if it went otherwise. The Ducks will always have scoreboard over not just the Cup but the first Cup in the PST and California. I am happy to concede the obvious.
It'd be rather petty if I wouldn't. Carla's other side is part of an outstanding group of individuals. I'd be foolish not to want work with them.
And in all fairness, I know darned well I struck a nerve with her. Perhaps her post was a bit out of character for her based on some of the responses here. Regardless, I deserved a more robust roasting than she dished out.
Besides, isn't the dialogue here a bit more interesting with an enemy or two in your midst (even if some cannot decide which side they're on)? There are some who would readily censor any dissent out of here, I'm sure this would include removal of me. I've enjoyed my visit, I will likely keep an eye on what Carla has to say and who knows, further postings on my part may prove to be irresistable!

I would never,ever cheer for the quacks -I always ask quack fans "do you play hockey?" they always say no or ROLLER HOCKEY!!!roller hockey is not hockey it is a bunch of clowns who like to act tough but shrivel when they take a shot in the mouth. They make me sick with theyre "I LIKE BOTH TEAMS" BS! You like the winner and keep the door open for when the kings kick ass the quacks are done ,and saying" I was a fan since sellane and kariya ' MEANS YOU DIDNT KNOW HOCKEY UNTIL TINKERBELLE FLEW OVER YOUR TV SCREEN TO CELEBRATE A GOAL.that was like last week wasnt it?oh yeah not for you!No king fan would ever be a quacker but I have heard of plenty of roller monkey quackers fans say I like them both .ALL QUACKERS FANS SUK>And oh by the way I would NEVER waste my time on a quackers site!!!!!!

I thought one had to be older than 13 when registering for this site. Then again, I bet you have a permission slip from your parents. It's kind of sad when one's identity is tied to hate rather than something positive about the team you cheer for. So you interview quack fans about what kind of hockey they play and you're surprised that most say either that they don't play or that they play roller. What do you expect? Do you really think Kings fans as a group play that much more ice hockey? Get real. Very few SoCal folks know the thrill of playing ice hockey firsthand, myself included. We are a somewhat exclusive group but it's not something to get all hung up about.

Yes it is. However, this is a KINGS website and being called a quacker around here is probably going to be the norm. Enjoy and relish the cup that you one two years ago. Because the LA KINGS are serving notice to the Pacific division and the rest of the Western conference, THE KINGS ARE NO LONGER THE DOORMAT AROUND HERE.
