Kings sign blueliner

The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with restricted free agent goaltender Jason LaBarbera and a one-year contract with free agent defenseman Brad Stuart, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Once again, we see the sad reality that no one wants to play for the Kings. Oh wait...

I think the Kings are a good fit for Stuart. He will show why he was taken 3rd overall in '98 and hopefully Lombardi will be able to lock him up beyond this year when he does.

I love that picture of Handzus..he looks pissed!

All last year we were crying for LaBarbara to come up to save us, well as of now, here is his chance.

I really like his game and was really bummed when he had those 'personal' issues 2 seasons ago. Anything to keep Clouts on the bench!

And Stuart is a solid blueliner that helps to add to the growing depth on this team!
