
The Los Angeles Kings signed right wing Dustin Brown to a six-year extension at a reported $19.05-million ($3.175 million per season).
"Dustin is an integral part of what we are building here with the Kings," said Lombardi. "We like how he competes; we like his toughness; and we are very pleased with how his overall game has developed."
Brown, 22, was a Kings first-round pick (13th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in 202 career regular season games in four seasons, recording 87 points (36-51=87) and 161 penalty minutes. So far this season, he has eight points (4-4=8) and 11 penalty minutes in 11 games.
