Dude Zak, get the Schwerma plate. it comes with CHICKEN, HUMMUS, PITA BREAD, TAHINI SAUCE and SALAD.

try the schwarma perhaps. ... though the chicken is good, it is rotisserie and can be found other places(to a lesser extent).

Steer clear of the baba ganoush. If I eat too much of that stuff it burns my tongue for some odd reason. The same thing happens when I eat too much pineapple.

The other stuff is just your basic middle eastern food, good, but not something you can't get elsewhere that'll be as good or better, and all the combo plates include hummus. Their chicken is the ****, though.

I love that place. You have to get the garlic paste to really enjoy it. We went to a place with a great reputation up here in the Bay Area, and it was **** compared to Zankou's. I miss the smell, the cute Armenian cashiers (there was a few in the Burbank location), hummus, juicy chicken, and the garlic infused burps that ensued.

BTW, digging the Beck lyrics, KJ. I man love you.

I've been to a few Zankou locations numerous times (most recently yesterday) and 99% of the time the cashiers are rather "manly" looking women. The 1% belongs to one girl I saw one time that was average looking, but far from hot.
