They are 19 cents a lb at Ralph's and better than I have tasted for a few years.
How is it that I have yet to try this watermelon-vodka creation?? Two things I love mixed together!

We must be a buncha alkies on here....exactly what came to my mind as well. Watermelon vodka too - yummmmmm.
But.....yea - watermelon by itself is good too! May have to go get me some!
You have to go to Red Square (Mandalay) when you're at FF. Their watermelon martini is simply watermelon infused vodka. Last time I went they also had strawberry and passion fruit. Absolutely, sinfully good.
So the first thing I read when I get to work this morning is this thread. Now you've got my cravings going... I've never had watermelon soaked in Vodka.

Last time I made a boozy watermelon, I hogged all the Ketel for myself and used Malibu rum instead, and I think it tasted a little better. Had a nice tropical flavor. I don't like fruit and crap messing up my vodka. I can barely tolerate a lemon twist.

How was the Malibu? I'd think that'd be awfully sweet...
