We want to go out for a nice dinner there, but can't decide where. We have two places on our list, L'Atelier and Bouchon. Which would you chose? Other recommendations are welcomed.

definitely a curve-ball... i have heard nary a word of this joint in my circle. it's been pretty much exclusively songs of praise for Wynn's buffet around my house.
Though I've never been to either of those restaurants in Vegas, we've eaten at Bouchon in Napa and it was wonderful (I also have the cookbook).
I do have a suggestion for lunch -- The Country Club at Wynn is great. AB$ & I had lunch there, and I've since been back with clients. It's at the back of the restaurant overlooking the 18th hole of their golf course, and is a bit away from the casino environment. The food is quite good -- when I was there the first time the chef was David Walzog...now it's someone else but still very good. I heard that Steve Wynn had the restaurant built because it's where he like to eat, and sure enough, the first time AB$ went, SW was seated at the next table. So you know they maintain the quality, and that the service will be good!
Have a great trip and let us know where you dine/how you enjoy it.

I know it is overrated, but I do like Mesa Grill. THis is about as nice a place as my wife and I could afford, plus it was even cheaper since we had a $75 Dining Credit when we stayed at Caesars Palace
My recommendation is the Hazelnut and Butternut Squash Tamale
I had the Wynn Buffet this past weekend. It was really good but it was expensive at $37.95. I went right for the seafood and got King Crab Legs, shrimp and I believe some Yellow tail. I made sure I got all the other goodies they had there. It was well worth the money in my mind. I ate a lot of seafood.
