Good call, AK. Is there one near the strip? The two I know of are on the west/northwest side near where I lived.

Circus Circus buffet... if you flirt a bit you might get an extra coupon for roast beef.

Lucky, we paid $41 a person when my girlfriend and I went in March. I ate all the crab legs I could to make it worth the price. Then I hear later that night that they have an all-you-can-eat Alaskan Crab Legs buffet at the Fremont for $15 a person...****!

Oh god does it kick ass...tastes sweet, with the masa and everything. NO squashy taste at all, but at 8 bucks a pop

I agree. I like the Treasure Island one too. I know that didn't answer the "nice restaurant" question - but....oh well

As for nice restaurants I would love to go to Bradley Ogden's new place. Also, people say that Rao's in Caesars is very over priced.

Supposedly, Hugo's Cellar in the Four Queens is supposed to be an old school type dining room that just kicks ass. Here are some ratings for it that may help you

I concur....didn't really think that the Wynn buffet was worth it. Bellagio and Treasure Island are much tastier.

I love how these buffet comments are not helping with your original question. =)

French food.. isn't that just duck and geese?

I must say, I haven't had some of the great restaurants in Vegas but one of my personal favorite places to go is Burger Bar in Mandalay Place. Nothing like a Kobe beef burger.

Thanks for all your responses. I just have to say that L'Atelier de JoËl Robuchon is freaking amazing. Gescom, we had the souffle for dessert....incredible!

I'll have to try the country club at the Wynn next time. That sounds great.

i've eaten at some pretty chic greasy spoons in Vegas. but i don't know, that one is my favorite.

i think i like the total chillaxed vibe environment the best. it really allows you to take your time and enjoy everything... and you can feel real snobby about it too.
