Has anyone tried this place at the Woodland Hills Promenade. It's kinda a cool place. No waiters only runners. You have a touch screen computer at your table where you swipe your card and order drinks, refills, food, whatever you want. While you wait for your food you an play games at the table. My kids took me for Mother's day and we had a blast. The food is reasonably priced and overall I would give it a B. They have big screen TV's all over and laser light things going on too. There is a patio for those that want to eat outside.
I know they plan to open at Hollywood and Highland soon.
Where exactly is it in the Promenade? Upstairs near the AMC, The Rack, or Ruby's? Or downstairs near Maggiano's?
Also, what kind of games do you play? Inquiring minds want to know...
Edit: I found a review of the place from October. It's Atari founder Nolan Bushnell's latest restaurant (previously started the Chuck E. Cheese chain).

Upstairs above Maggiano's. Take the esculator up. There arre all kinds of games to choose from. Sports trivia, Tarot stuff, auto racing stuff, just a lots of things. You can play single or against those in your party.
Try the url www.uwink.com Next time I'm in the valley I would go back.
Sounds cool. I've eaten at a place where the servers take your order on an electronic device that networks to the kitchen, etc. but never saw it taken to the next step yet. Very interesting.
I've been there before and it's a nice place. The foods good and pricey. The games are awesome and I was unstoppable at sports trivia. I don't recommend getting their pizza but overall, it's a good place to go.

I did not find the food that pricey for the huge servings you get. I will say that the mixed drinks are pricey though. I do want to go again sometime when I can eat.
Not sure if this location is open yet for you people on the west side.
May 1, 2007 -- uWink to Open New Location at The Promenade at Howard Hughes Center in Los Angeles
uWink was recently talked about. I went there. I had their burger it was VERY good!!! They do give you large portions and all this is done at the press of a touch screen computer. You can order your refills and your food anyway you want just at the touch. Playing the computer games was also fun. I went with my daughter and she had a great time. I would recommend if you are in the San Fernando Valley area (especially if you have kids...the computers totally will keep them busy). I even had the chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream for dessert!!! excellent choice.
