Yeah, I don't know about that Mrs. Dash thing, but I pretty much always use ground turkey for this kind of stuff (burgers too). Just season it up, and it's great. Of course, it depends on what you use for seasoning.
FBJ I have been eating ground turkey in my house for a very long time. The wife doesn't eat red meat. Thankfully I have an older daughter who loves steak and pork loin so I can cook it up for at least two in the house.
The meat balls sound good. I like frying up ground turkey, mixing in my pasta sauce then dumping the whole mess into a crock pot and cooking on low for a few more hours. One recommendation is to double the amount of sauce to meat as some burns off in the crock pot. It's making me hungry just thinking about it now ...

Those sound good! I've been lazy and have been buying the Trader Joe's kind. They are pretty tasty but I think I have to give the homemade kind a try. Thanks!
I looked for an image of an angry old Italian woman to put with that post so it would appear more sarcastic than it did.
Oh well.
Anyhow, what with the wife's Italian upbringing, I'm kinda spoiled by her good meatballs and sauce. Sorry, but if I posted the recipes here, she'd f'in kill me. Don't worry, though, Sticky. You're getting a lasagna for your wedding present.
