Headed to Trader Joe's this weekend to pick up some stuff. I like to stash something away in the freezer for quick snack/dinner some nights. What is your favorite frozen item at Trader Joes?
I've had the Mac & Cheese there since it was hyped up by my boss. I didn't care for it too much...to grainy? I guess I'm just a big fan of my Mom's when I visit...that stuff is delicious out of the oven!

The frozen chicken tamales are some of the best. My freezer is always stocked with them. They come 2 to a pack. Pop 1 in the microwave for 3 minutes then put some taco sauce on it. They have Indian entrees such as chicken tika masala that I get a lot. Aslo, stuffed bell peppers and lasagna. Their fresh frozen fish is also a good value.
While you are there pick up some Jo-Jo's. They are similar to Oreos but waaay better. Also, Double Rainbow vanilla ice cream is the bomb.
We do a great portion of our grocery shopping at TJ's. I will be going by there tomorrow. I am going to try the "Better'n Peanut Butter" that was mentioned in the other thread.

For $1.99, the Cheese Enchiladas are pretty damn good. As for the frozen veggies, the asparagus is awesome. Steamed, it tastes like FRESH, I swear. I like their BBQ chicken pizza too! I never go there without picking up frozen blueberries or the berry mix if they don’t have just the blueberries alone.
I've only tried the enchiladas and tamales and those have been pretty good.
How has the frozen pasta been? Pasta is so easy too cook and you can just buy the sauce at TJ's, but it would be even easier to throw something in the nuke machine.
A regular in my freezer is the Beef Taquitos. 10 to a tray and at about $3.75. Good for 3-4 meals depending on how many you eat. Pop a couple into the oven or microwave and they stay crispy and yummy!
I usually eat them with some TJ's guacamole that I buy from there. I can't recall what it's called, but it comes in a small box and has two plastic pouches worth of pure avocado. Freeze one pouch as just one will do with your taquitos. The pouch is easy to defrost... just drop it in a bowl of hot water while your taquitos are heating up in the oven.
