It must have been a year or so since I've had one of their greasy, oozy chili (duh), beef steak tomato and pickle ladened thick burgers. What a great place to go to with a buddy who came in from out of town, to scarf a bit after sharing stories during happy hour.

Man...nothing like it when a craving hits. For some reason, the original location is the best.
Oh man, I miss that place. Back when I was still working at Vroman's in Pasadena, there was one about 3 blocks away that I would hit once a week. I need to drag my lazy ass out there this weekend...

You were lucky that they had that one on Hill. Back when I used to work in Pasadena, I had to sneak over to the one in Eagle Rock on Colorado near the 134. That one would close early too......
