Is anybody going to the 11th Annual Stone Anniversary Celebration brewfest this weekend (9/8)? Has anybody been before?
It is one of the premier brewfests in the country and will be my 5th straight year attending. You can get info and purchase tickets on the Stone Brew website.
It's a fantastic event and all the proceeds go to charities.
I'll be there. This will be my 4th time attending. Its getting alittle to crowded for my liking (5000 each session). It sucks that Alpine Brewing Co or Dogfish Head wont be there this year. Some Pure Hoppiness or 120 minute IPA would have been nice.
I'll be there for the 1st session. what session are you going to wasabinuki?
Should have bought a case of the stuff at the time.....
I still have a case-plus, Brutha' Azagthoth. I haven't had one since my son was born last December. I might have to grill a bit of something right now to go with it...
Well... I went and I consumed at the morning session...
And I wore my JMFJ teeshirt..there were two Kings fans there that came over to talk to me...they were the only ones who knew what the shirt was all about.
Hopefully we can change that this year :D
The festival was really good this year...lots of great beer that you can't get other places. Good times ...

so do I. let me give you a warning, this 10th anniv beer is getting stronger with time. I've had a couple of these in the first month, was smooth but very hoppy and strong. have had a couple more in the last month and boy they really knocked me down. it's like a beer with a couple of shots of hard liquor.
