By the way- Stone was one of the stops on my bachelor party a few weeks ago and for those who go down there with any frequency... they're aging some of it in bourbon barrels

If anyone else had the red wine barrel-aged 07 vertical epic, you probably have a hop-boner after thinking about that action.

I popped open a couple on Saturday night and it is a fine beer. Not as good as the Imperial Russian Stout or the 10th Anniversary, but I really enjoyed it. Everybody was saying the alcohol was too much and that it needs a few months to age - but I disagree entirely. I love the chocolate that they used in it.

Love the bitter chocolate taste. Drank 2 on Saturday night with some tequila shots. Nice buzz.
