when i lived in Washington state i dont even think there was one in the state and they still played those damn commercials......but now i live in texas and there is one down the street
Perfect thing is that my in-laws live in the 909/951 and is on the way out there. That one though can be damn slow at night. One time it took 30 minutes to get my wife a shake. Pregnant woman+ waiting to get a shake= not fun
That, and Ruby Tuesday, i'm telling you... not that i would frequent either place, but the curiosity factor... f***, I feel so gullible
No kidding, I see a Ruby Tuesday commercial at least once a week down her in Orange County, but I believe the nearest RTs is in Northern California! WTF?

Sonic Burger commercials usually bring forth the "WHY can't there be one closer than Fullerton?" EVERY time I see one. I never think to go there when I'm in the area visiting my parents either. Oh well.
Ruby Tuesdays brings forth the "**** YOU RUBY TUESDAY!!!" EVERY time I see one of their damned commercials. I've heard it's not that tasty, but I don't care. If it's true that one is opening in the Chino Hills area, I will go just so I can stop yelling at my TV, and then I'll most likely never go back.
I just had my first Sonic experience on Monday in Hesperia, coming back from Vegas. I spent the time eating and counting the chips in my windshield from the hailstorm from hell we drove through right before Baker.
For a guy who loves mustard, the burger was delictable. As was the Banana Cream Pie Shake that went with it. I decided to try the tots instead of the fries, and they were okay - nothing great. The wife had some Chicken Toaster thing, and thought it was good.
I stopped at the new one in Victorville/Hesperia on the way back from Vegas a few weeks ago in time for half price drinks from 2-4. It's on the Southbound side of the 15 between Bear Valley and Main St. The bizarre thing is I didn't notice the Sonic going in when I drove out to Vegas in June so when I drove out in July I was like "WTF! This Sonic wasn't here last month!". So you can get your Sonic fix on the way out to Frozen Fury.
I've been to Sonic for food a few times since there's one not too far from my sister in Vegas. It's ok. I definitely agree with the others about Sonic and Ruby Tuesday, it's something you want just because it's not here. Dunkin Donuts is another one. Vegas has all 3 of those chains though.
