About This Page: This is a discussion on Food and Beer Reviews within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Im looking for a locals review of this place that was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: TV: Food Network . I dont trust Guy Fieri as far as he
Like i said he's slumped before, it appears from the past few days he's starting to come out of it. Kopi will finish with 85+ points this season, you can quote me on that.

Its an hours drive involving the 91 and the 22. So yes Mark, just like it's too difficult for the LA/OC contingent to drive any distance East for hockey, it is a long drive away for me to get waffles...
Me and some friends went after one of my friends saw the review on the show. When we got there I realized I had been there before for breakfast. We went on a sunday for lunch at around 1 and waited an hour to be seated. It's right on the harbor by the boats with a very cool and laid back vibe. They have a small bar outside that you can get drinks from while you wait. I think the dish they reviewed on the show was the Mess, which was basically an omelet with everything thrown in, or maybe more like a scramble like you would get at Dennys. A few of my friends got it and didn't think it was anything special. I got a reuben sandwich which I thought was pretty good. The service sucked though. Waitress got a few of the orders pretty wrong, including a completely different dish for one of my friends, and she never came back for refills and when we did get her attention she didn't even refill everyone's drinks. We finally flaged down another waitress to help us out. Prices aren't bad at all for what it's worth.
So the food is not bad, nothing special either. It's a cool location with a fun vibe, but the service wasn't the best. I'd probably go back, just not during prime hours. They aren't open for dinner either, just lunch and breakfast. The first time I went for breakfast was on a weekday about 9 months ago and it was dead and much better service. That's probably when I would go back. I hope that helps you out Ruely.
Try FlappyJacks in Glendora, great breakfasts and service. If go on the weekend be prepared to wiat theres always a line waiting to get in. they do close at 2 or 3PM so no dinner
In concur with the negative reviews. I live very close to this place. I've been two times and it sucked both times. Well, I guess it's fine if you feel like waiting 2 hours to sit down. Then, once seated, your service blows because it is so busy.
Last time I went they forgot my food. Then tried to "speed cook" my Fish and Chips and it was raw on the inside.
I won't go back.
Reviews are hit and miss...but it's comforting to see that others have had a crap time at this place too:
or a gold chain and big gold pinky rings on both hands. i can't stand guy fieri. CAN'T STAND HIM. effing guido.
I'll bet the guido's don't even want him. Hell, dude is more accessorized than my mother, sister, grandma and 3 aunts combined. But, if invited to his swank pad for some home-cooked dood food, fancy drinks, a bit of jamming, and a few rounds of bumper pool I'd probably go. Even if for no other reason than to peruse his collection of hub-caps.
