Seconded.
I actually ended up with 6 of the Beatifications. My order came in today
How are the Beatifications? I goofed when I ordered and accidentally put 2 of those in the quantity section. I wish it would have been the Supplication instead, but oh well - both are fine beers !
So what I got was
3 Supplications
3 Redemptions
6 Beatifications

The Russian River Supplication is one of my favorites. It ages very well, so you may want to put some away.
I shoved those 3 far in the back of my fridge. I'll drink one within a few weeks (I do believe that most beers should be tried both fresh and aged) and let the other 2 sit for about a year.
I've also got the Beatifications in the back next to them, as a friend told me they age nicely too. I'll also be drinking one of those soon, and determining if I want to use a couple of the extras as trading chips.
Apparently the Redemption is on the lighter side, so I'll probably move through those pretty quick unless I am advised not to by somebody that is familiar with the beer.
Finally, I've also got a Temptation that's in the back which I am going to open up when my good buddy gets back in town from Ohio.
Russian River brewing co. makes a fantastic beer. Last time I was bellied up to the bar at Stone Brewery, I went ahead and diverged a little from the draft list and ordered up 750mol of Russian River Damnation. Excellent brew! I'd love to get my hands on some Supplication.
The Damnation is really good, and pretty easy to find out here in stores.
Its nothing though compared to some of the other ones I've had:
Stone just released their 12th Anniversary - a Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout. Release date - July 7. Not sure if it is in stores yet. They are serving it at their anniversary event in August.
I already picked up a case. I will crack the first bottle tomorrow night & let you know how it is.
I might wander far and wide but I always gravitate back to Newcastle Ale.
Newcastle is a nice one to have as a 'staple'. I rarely pass one up.

I like Ruination's taste, but as they say on the bottle, you cannot drink it with food. I often find myself hammering a good burger or even some fresh sushi with my brews so Ruination just doesn't make it into my fridge very often. I am starting to think I might like the Stone Old Guardian barley wine the best out of their brews. It's strong, but the taste is smooth and seems to work very well with a large variety of eats.
Lagunitas Censored is an excellent beer. But for some reason I prefer their edgier brews- in particular the Hairy Eyeball. That one makes you do funny things in public.

the Hairy Eyeball usually makes an appearance at the microbrew festival at the Santa Anita racetrack.
that stuff is pretty good, but be forewarned. a few Hairy Eyeballs made henry jump over the fence and race with the horses.
