I am thoroughly impressed ! Very mild for an IPA yet lacks nothing. I saw it for the first time in Bevmo and decided to try it, considering Doug has always raved about Bridgeport.
Bridgeport ****ing rules
Their Christmas Beer rules
Their PA rules
This beer rules
This beer ruled all beers and the bastards stopped making it
as you might already know, Bridgeport IPA is bottle conditioned, meaning it's fermented with some yeast inside.
as for any other unfiltered beers, before you serve, let the yeast sentiment settle to the bottom of the bottle. if you see cloudiness inside the bottle when you take it out of the fridge, put it back in and wait.
this IPA is best when poured into a chilled glass. do it slowly so not to disturb the yeast, and keep it from getting out.
you won't be disappointed.

I don't think you can ever go wrong with Bridgeport. Until I found it at Bevmo, every trip to Oregon or Washington included a trunk full of Bridgeport for the trip home.

This stuff is very tasty and not real bitter considering it's 9%. The waxy covering over the cap is a nice touch as is the label. In fact this is better than most of the Stone specialty beers I've tried that are usually 10% but very alchohol tasting. This beer is extremely easy to drink and not too fizzy like some of the celebration ales. I'd give it a 9.5 and now I want to try the TRIPLE Ale! Not a bad price either, $3-$4 a pint bottle. If you want to get a good buzz on one beer instead of three, this is the ticket. (RR's diet tip of the day)

The Triple is WAAAAAAYYYYY better than the Double IMO. Both solid beers and part of my cellaring collection currently.
