I long for Thikston's Old Peculier which I had in England. It's a stout, and a damned fine one. Can only get it here in bottles, and it's not the same stuff as on tap, not even close. Wish they would put it in those special cans, like Guiness or Murphy's. *Sigh* But if you're ever on the other side of the pond and have a chance, give it a shot. Gooooood stuff.

If you're ever in Toronto - arrive early to the brewery which is just down the street from the ACC.
It's DYNOMITE!!!
Aside from Upper Canada Dark Ale - Guiness, Newcastle, Boddington's Smithwicks or a Carlsberg top - (that's a pint of Carlsberg topped off with 7-up).
Oh...and someone else mentioned Kona Longboard Ale...yes, it's good...also try Waimea Brewery on Kauai if you're ever there - you could spend a whole week drinking from their restaurant / brewery!
I had Flat Tire the other night and enjoyed it. Some of the beers mentioned above are due to tasting. I'll try and make it to BevMo and pick up a variety to try.

flat tire? I think that this belongs in the RH forum.
Hee hee... my bad. Just got back from BevMo and got a few 22oz. bombers of Fat Tire Amber Ale at $2 and some change. I need to go stock up! I was alway looking for that Karl Strauss Beer that no one could find and ended up getting a 6 pack of the Woodie Gold.
