Beerman, unfortunately I don't know any pizza/Mexican places around there. When I went to CSUN I usually ate at home then commuted.

Chains or hole in the wall? There;s "On the Border" at the Northridge Mall. Don't forget about Wood Ranch, right across from it. (Not Mexican or Pizza, but still works.) In that block you also have Macaroni Grill, Claim Jumper, CPK, Red Robin, and I think that's about it for sit down places. Oh, there's the Big Apple Deli if you're up stuck up New Yorker.

There's also a Hots Taco next to LA Fitness on Devonshire and Reseda.

well, being that I am going to the festival at the Northridge Park tonight. as always at any festivals, there will be food booths, a few of which would be worth crashing upon.

There is a sort of new pizza place on Topanga across from the mall...I dont know what the name of it is...but it has something to do with Rock N Roll. I saw it in the LA Times food section 2 weeks ago....ANYONE with the name?

LA Pizza Co on Devonshire at Balboa makes a good pie if you can get past the owner's gruff attitude.

Chi Chi's for pizza on Tampa and Nordhoff

Mexican Sierra's on Nordhoff and Canoga or you can go to there take out Mission Burrito.

Another good Mexican place is LA Fuentes on Nordhoff and Reseda Just east of Reseda. Expect a crowd, it's always busy, they have take out too.
