The fried chicken here is amazing. Some Guatemalan guys I work with turned me onto it and said it had been a favorite in their country for a number of years and that they were now opening a number of locations in the US, specifically Southern California because of its heavy latino population. I went to the one near Staples at Washington & San Pedro but there are about 20 across LA. I would love to hear what other people think if they have tried it. I think it surpasses Roscoe's as my new Fried Chicken destination.

I gave it a try a couple of years (and a handful of LGK Pollo Campero threads) back, and didn't find it special in any way, and having made a special trip, believe you me, I wanted to think it was the **** of all ****s.

The only thing I do not like about Fried Chicken franchises is the inconsistency. Sometimes a piece will be crisp, and just right, the next day it is crap...soggy etc. I have seen this with KFC, and the only time I have had fried chicken at Popeyes. I may give it a try, and visit the one in LBC
Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles is where it's at, unfortunately it's not fast food. I still have yet to find a better piece of fried chicken. Dinah's in Culver City is also very good, and much better than Popeye's and KFC.
