Was it a meteor again? That happened to me a few years back, too.
I vote for Taco Mesa.

Unless the Taco Mesa has made it to podunkcow-brohamville (Rancho Cucamonga) Im SOL.
Oh, and no meteors... just hard working demo-men.

Funny Story. My husband has a F-250 King Cab for a company vehicle. He stopped to get donuts for his office one day at a shop that is in the local Home Depot shopping center. (you know where this is going...) He stopped like a good citizen at the stop sign in front of the HD entrance (so as not to hit the car that was leaving...) and three gentleman tried to hop in the back. Mr. Ruely realized what was happening and hit the gas. (picture that) *no mexicans were injured during the making of this story*

Our appliances are stainless steel and about a year old so they dont need replacing.
New cabinets and countertops courtesy of a leak turned full blown *ahem?* blow of a pipe. Black mold leads the way to a new kitchen.
Cabinets like this...
Counters like this...
enough about that. what the hell am I gonna have fro dinner? I dont want to eat fast food for the next two weeks.
Any viable suggestions after Chipotle for lunch and Juan Pollo for dinner??
Well, I'll probably throw something onto the grill when I get home.

It's going to be too damn hot over the next few days to hang around a grill outside... Better to stick with inside or going out to an air conditioned place.
If you can still get in and out of your fridge (or you have a small one in the garage or something) get some sandwich fixins and plan on doing that for at least a few days. Quick, easy, and nice and cold.
first we did the cabinets ourselves, which didn't really impede the cooking part.
then, it took 2.5 weeks for a contractor to just do the counters/replace the sink.
before they started, i had made some food and packed it up in the fridge so all i would have to do is warm it up in the microwave which we moved to the dining room.
other times, since i still had access to the stove and fridge i cooked. i had to use the dining table to cut stuff up though due to the lack of counter space. i also used the bathroom sink to clean the dishes... anything with food in it was rinsed outside with the garden hose.
and other times, we had bread, cheese & wine.
i know it sounds like a pain, but i don't like eating out all the time. and actually, the prep and cooking wasn't the pain. it was washing the dishes in a little sink & making sure food didn't go down that drain that sucked.
we did go out and have sushi and italian food on fridays to give me a break.
