About This Page: This is a discussion on Food and Beer Reviews within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. I'm having a real hard time finding some decent Mongolian in the OC. Anyone out there got any recommendations?
I used to go to one in Orange, CA a lot when I went to Chapman College/University.
I don't know if it's the same one but there's a Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ on... 1722 N Tustin St Orange, CA 92865
Not to piss on the parade but once you go to a Korean BBQ or even Japanese Yakiniku you will never do mongolian again.
Did you ever notice no matter what sauce or veggies or meat you choose for mongolian bbq it always tastes the same?
It is what it is. Korean isn't known for having a variety of sauces' either, the main difference is the inherent taste and texture of the meat used. The problem with mongolian is that it's all shaved meat regardless of type.
I like the bread at the Mongolian place. heh.
I like and eat Korean much more than mongolian but mongolian is a lot cheaper in general. If I don't get yakiniku buffet style, I can easily spend $40-$60 for kal-bi on my own.

I first had mongolian at the same place by Chapman College mentioned above... Now I go to the other one in CM (though I can remember neither one's name at the moment). Both of these places serve the noodle-less variety.
One time I went to a place by the Forum with some other Kings fans, and they insisted it was the best place ever. It had noodles.
