Of course they schedule this on a day when the wife is going to be out of town, so I'm on Daddy duty followed up by electrical maintenance at the DC that night that requires me to be sober, just in case.
all equally good. crowd was sparse early on, but there was no racing at the racetrack in lieu of the Kentucky and Churchill derbys.
after our fourth beers by around 1, it started getting crowded with the beer tents getting more packed and the lines longer. returning to the parking lot to unwind, we faced much more people coming in so we figured to just bail out and crash out for the day.
