As glad as I am that they're keeping this show going, Iron Chef Symon has some pretty big shoes to fill. Robert Irvine (liar or not) was a lot of fun to watch.
You knew it was going to continue, the ratings it pulled were just too good to dump it because of a lying jackass.
Lesson for all: If you're gonna lie on your resume and during interviews... make sure you dont get caught.

Yay! I can start watching this show again. I wasn't really a fan of Robert Irvine but I liked the concept of the show so I watched a few times. I dig Chef Symon though. I think he'll be pretty entertaining on this show.
I guess when you've got guns like Irvine you can say whatever the hell you damn well please... and when someone calls you out for embellishing your resume you just walk over and twist their head right off their body like a champagne cork. Good for Mr. Symon. I'll watch, but I liked him best on Melting Pot with WAAAAYNE.... HAAARLEY.... BRAAAAACKMAN.

I have it on decent authority (sources from craftSTEAK *and* Mesa Grill ) that his guns and his inflated resume all go right along with his pompus attitude and basic people retardation. Apparently he majorly lacks social skills and really treats his sous chefs like ****. His actual culinary skills are average at best so makes up for that with a taller version of a Napoleon Complex and a penchant for working out.
