Hey,
My wife and I were talking about FFXI... We were thinking of doing something we haven't tried yet for lunch on the way out to vegas. She mentioned Mad Greek, and I've heard good and bad things about it.
Who has been, and what did you think? What did you order? What exactlly is their menu selection?
thanks

Yeah...the one in Baker rules. Arguably the best greek food Ive ever had. The other locations arent nearly as good as this one. Worth the stop for sure.

I stopped by there on my way to Vegas in July, and I was VERY underwhelmed by their gyros. I've had much better gyros from food court Greek places (it's not any better than Daphne's, that's for sure, and Daphne is as meh as it gets). I heard after the fact that their souvlaki is pretty good, but I haven't tried it, so can't say.
I'm not going to be tempted to stop by there again any time soon.

I've yet to find any really good greek food in SoCal.

Stopped by there a long time ago, was in the bathroom for days!
You know something, now that you mentioned it, there were three of us, and two of us (including myself) did end up with pretty gnarly stomach aches.

Ok... So it's looking like carls at state line or something just like we always do.. I'm not wasting my money on something that doesn't sound all that good...

given its location, the Mad Greek is sort of an Oasis... being stuck out there in Baker. which is why some may feel the food is better than it actually is.

Maybe I caught it on a good day but when I went it was great. Went to the other locations and it wasnt nearly as good. That was probably 7 years ago since I was with Sean53 and Shane-damn I miss those guys.
