About This Page: This is a discussion on Food and Beer Reviews within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Tried one this morning and heres my thoughts.
Its good but not as good as the Carls Jr Breakfast Burrito. 10 times better then the Mcdonalds but not quite as
Hip, please stop going to fast food for your breakfast burritos and find a local hole in the wall and or roach coach to satisfy your breakfast needs..
When I lived in Huntington Beach I knew all the good places but now im in South County theres just not the amount of hole in the walls as the beach area. Truth be told I generally bring my own breakfast but today is a 1/2 work day for me and I wont be taking lunch and based on the recomendations from others here figured Id try the JITB burrito.
Arrogant Bastard-Why is there an age limit on breakfast burritos?
I haven't jack in the crack in almost 2 years now :( I miss those poppers and especially a yumbo yack with cheese... tacos.. bacon and cheddar potato wedges ahhhhhhh f*** florida :(

What a coincidence, Hip... I bought my first one this morning too, as my usual bistro was "out" of breakfast burritos when I called for take out. (?)
The JITB version wasn't bad. Nothing special, but it's tough to screw up some scrambled eggs, cheese, steak and a hash brown wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't greasy at all, and the quality of the ingredients is passable (not too crazy about the waxy tortilla though). Stuck it in the toaster oven for a few before eating, and with extra hot sauce it was satisfying.
It's nothing I'd seek out specifically every week or even every month, but it was better than I thought and I'd eat it again in a pinch.
(Lunchtime now--and it's still sitting pretty--so that's a good sign.)

blah, blah, blah...
you know better so STOP IT!!
only legitimate recommendations from now on
kthxbye
Can't believe I'm actually gonna do this, but I'm going to give Del Taco a little bit of credit. I was late for a racquetball tournament a couple weeks ago and needed breakfast. Del Taco was my only option for a quick bite. Saw the shredded beef breakfast burrito and gave it a try. Pains me a little to say it, but it actually resembled Mexican food. No... like real Mexican food. Shredded beef and scrambled egg (like machaca), just a little bit of cheese and some chile verde. Pretty simple, but also pretty decent.
Hipcheck: south OC? there should be an Albertacos place off of Avery exit in MV, just a lil bit north on Marguerite Pkwy. I used to go there every week for their breakfast burritos.
