Zane Lamprey hosts this show which looks similar to Three Sheets which he hosted on MOJO (Cable HD Chanel). Three Sheets was a drinking show similar to Dave Attell's Insomniac. Looks worth checking out. DISH subs, let us know if it's HD.

First let me say i have not watched it, but it looks like a rip off of Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.

No Reservations just had an Emmy nomination and now FoodTV feels they need to compete with Travel Channel.

Tried watching this show a couple of times with my wife over the weekend. Just couldn't get into it. My wife said, "Foreign people must think Americans are idiots" with the way he acted.

I kind of get his schtick, but thought he also had the Alton Brown-I-cannot-ever-let-a-moment-pass-that-I-am-not-speaking-about-something-regardless-of-how-pertinent-what-I-have-to-say-is-to-the-subject-at-hand-and-I-will-drone-on-about-it-until-I-put-you-to-sleep-no-dead-air-ever thing. Watchable, but compared to somebody like Tony Bourdain, no contest.

You know, I think he'd be great as a drinking show guy, but I don't think the wandering traveler guy is a good fit for him.

I'm not saying it's an original idea, just the attention that Travel is getting is making Food create some "me too" type shows.
