About This Page: This is a discussion on Food and Beer Reviews within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. We just grilled up some pineapple and apples last night. They were SOOOOOOO good. Just curious what other fruit people have tried grilling.
Pineapple slices dipped on coconut milk, then sprinkled with sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon, then grilled. Top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy. To make it interesting, let them soak in some rum for an hour first. Peaches and bananas sound grub too, i'll have to try those.
Now veggies are the best off the grill. My best is sliced potatoes (length-width wise) mixed with sliced onion, salt, pepper, lots and lots of butter and the KEY ingredient ... rosemary. Wrap it all up (with potatoes stacked with onion layers and butter layers) in foil, double, and put on the grill for a good 45 minutes.
This is absolutely incredible as a side to beef, salmon, chicken and grilled asparagus or corn.
You can do the same foil wrap with mixed veggies (squash, zucchini, green beans, whatever) with itailian dressing and salt and pepper.
Steamed anything in foil on the bbq is the best you could have.

Nothing special. Just sprinkle garlic salt or Lawrys Seasoning salt over the chicken breast and wrap it in foil with the pineapple. Grill the package on the grill and then remove the stuff and grill it seperately. Grilling it in the foil seals in the juices and gives the chicken a nice flavor before you grill it.
And then there is the awesome dish at Outback. The Chicken Griller stuff. Very good.
