I like The Hat because they give you a ton of them. I loved the old Carl's Jr. fries. Also, I love
The fries at YNOT in Torrance are sooo good! Anyone happen to know if YNOT is still there? It has been years since I have been there. Any place that has steak fries gets a thumbs up from me.
Tommie's has the best freedom fries around. If you do not agree, you must be a commie.

Thought I'd be the one initiating the awesomeness that is Del Taco crinkle cut fries.
I used to love Wendy's fries, but in recent years I can't remember getting a good/fresh batch. Carl's/Jack fries are mediocre to me. I enjoy In N Out, if only because they're consistently the same, then again I rarely get In N Out to go. McDonald's is timeless; I picked up Indian food last week and decided to stop by and get a $1 fries from McD's to go along with it. Burger King's is decent although usually too salty for me.
wendys - never had em
carls - sucks
jacks - sucks
in n out - sucks
mcd's - sucks
burger king - ok... but as brodeur says.... salty
del taco - don't remember alone .... but excellent with chili
BEST FRIES: The Habit!
I knew it would come up, and I disagree regarding in-n-out having the worst fries. They are definitely underseasoned and could at times use some additional cooking time, but they are made from freshly cut potatoes, which is instantly noticeable, and makes big positive difference. So if you ask for the fries to be on the well-done side, and make sure to season them well, they are quite good.
