Went this weekend to try the Cuban per roenicks suggestion.

Have to say it was pretty damn good. I picked up a Cuban as well as the Small Italian and both were amazingly good. I have to say I think these sandwiches are better then the Kings Special. The bread isnt as thick and the meat is sliced a bit thinner. As for the Cuban, its a traditional smashed/flat sandwich but very good taste and texture. And the price is right with the Cuban going for 5+ and the Small Italian only $4.50.

All in all I will second Roenick recomendation. Ive eaten at there before but this was the first time trying the Cuban....thumbs up big time!

Hands down, next to a Mario's Glendale Italian, the DeSimone's Cuban is the best deli sandwich I have ever had.
