Alright, so which do you prefer and why? I LOVE me some dark chocolate. Milk and white are just way too sweet.

Not the biggest fan of chocolate in the first place, but when I do eat it, generally I'll go for milk chocolate... although like BP said above, dark chocolate + red wine = delicious.

DARK 'til death!!!! Currently I'm slowly making my way through the AMEDEI 1 Cru Collection:

This picture isn't great, but it's a beautiful package design of six small boxes, each with six bite-size pieces of 70% cocoa representing different regions: Venezuela, Trinidad, Madagascar, Jamaica, Grenada, and Ecuador. They all taste completely different, and the flavor profiles range from delicate to strong, sour to intense, even floral to earthy. Slowly savor a bite or two after dinner and compare. This would make a SERIOUSLY kick-ass xmas present for the dark-chocolate lover in your life (or yourself). All Amedei chocolate is fabulous, but for the coolness factor I give this box the highest possible recommendation.

Otherwise I like Valrhona, and Scharffen Berger is pretty good too....

not a huge chocolate fan, but if i have it, i prefer dark for the same reason as afrogirl.

I used to eat a ton of chocolate when I was a kid. Now not as much as I really, really like sour stuff (Sour Patch Kids/worms/etc., Sour Peach slices, etc.) and chocolate almonds/nuts/raisins. Reece's is my thing. My wife loves her some dark chocolate.

Oh and I voted for milk chocolate as that is really my favorite if I eat chocolate.
